Ford 3000 head repair?

I bought a Ford 3000 a few years ago and the head gasket is leaking exhaust into the cooling system. I started pulling it apart yesterday and found where the upper radiator hose goes into the head has been broken and had J-B Weld over it. This is probably where the coolant leaked out and it ran hot. Here are a few pictures. Is this repairable? Can I have it welded or do I need to buy a new head?

That looks like a freeze crack.

Have you looked the block over carefully for any more damage?

I would try to find a rebuildable used head.

Unfortunately when I was cleaning the top of the block I found this crack one part looks like it goes into the cylinder. And all 3 piston tops have scarring of some metal being in there. I'm surprised it ran as good as it has for 4 years. They knew it was messed up when I bought it by the looks of it. I'm glad I only paint $2500 for it. I've definitely gotten that out of it with as much Grass as I mow. It's hurting me right now.. This is the wrong time of the year to have it down.

I found a tractor place that will sell me the whole motor if I pull it for $2500. $3500 if they pull it.

Found a remanufactured engine, with head, water pump, fuel injection pump for $5100 6 month warranty on broken tractor. Com. I know that kinda high but if you add those parts up separately your right there anyways. Then I can just bolt it up and go.

I've looked at several tractors over the last few days trying to stay under $10,000. A lot of them look good some of them shake, some of them have rattling noise coming out of the head, and I'm just very skeptical about buying a used tractor because I don't want to be in the same position I'm in now 2 years from now. You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig. Metal and paint is cheap and I have quickly discovered engine problems is very costly. I'd rather put $7,000 in my tractor and have one brand new that's probably the route I'm going to go. I would like to have a bigger tractor so I could put a loader on it later on... I just don't want to spend $15 000+ right now.
