Things I have done to the tractor.
All the engine paint and tin was my doing.
I cleaned tractor the hard way, because I did not know any better. I hand scraped all grease and rust off tractor body and tin and painted with a brush. I had no lifts for fancy equipment to paint with. I installed a rebuilt starter, also installed a new starter push button and had to figure on the wiring so the switch would work. Put in new manifold gasket and fixed the manifold crack, replaced oil pan gasket. The battery box was rebuilt. Throttle linkage was bent had to straighten that back. Gas tank had to be cleaned and flushed out. Brackets holding the gas tank where straighten a little.

Lights I am still working on and will have to wire. Also ROPS I am working on.
I need new steering wheel and seat rework I will put on new material.

This has been a wonderful learning about this little tractor. I will say this.

Before buying a ROPS check with your county extension office. They may be participating in a program that pays for a big chunk of it. Your 860 is looking very loved!
