New Holland L555 Skid Loader

I was using my skid loader today when I heard a "snap" in the left drive assembly. I'm thinking it may have been the drive chain breaking. My owners manual shows a diagram of the chain, tensioner and drive sprockets. Has anyone experienced this type of failure before. Just curious what I'm gonna find tomorrow when I tear it apart and how miserable of a job its gonna be to replace the drive chain if it broke.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

You won't know what's wrong till you get in there. That machine has some age on it; anything is possible. Yes, it's a miserable job.
