Help for husband

We have a Ford 9N tractor that is always having problems. He has to keep relying on the man he bought the tractor from to fix it. I think my hubby can learn to fix it himself, but I think he's reluctant to try. What would you suggest he do or get to be able to start diagnosing and fixing it himself. He is pretty handy. I just think he needs some general guidance on it. Thanks. A frustrated wife with an unplowed driveway!!!

As Bob say and also go out to a farm and home place and buy him an I-T manual FO-4 and give it to him. It covers most repairs on that tractor. Also if you look at my web site my phone number is there if he need some one to talk him through a problem

Good Advice; you may also want to get parts, operator, and maintenance manuals. I got some off ebay on disk for John Deere, IH, and Farmall. Can still get hard copies, but these are just as handy for me. If needed, can print up the needed page(s).

Thanks to everyone for their advice. I'll pass this on to him and hopefully he'll feel more comfortable trying this on his own.
