I am going to rebuild from the ground up the tractor I started riding 29 years ago when my father bought it. It"s a 1956 MF50 and IT IS WORE SLAP OUT. It"s going to require a rebuild of the engine, hydraulics, steering system, as well as a cosmetic overhaul of sorts. Where do I start. Never split a tractor before. Does rebuilding the engine or hydraulics require splitting the tractor? The transmission is great. Pictures are included. Any advice would be great. Like does TISCO make good engine rebuild kits? Who would you buy the remainder of the parts from?
