Hello everyone. Been thru 7 tubes this year pulling.Tires are bfg 16.9x38 mounted on 16 inch rim's.My question is can the tubes be fixed by taking out the valve stem, patching the hole and put a new stem in elsewhere. The gnarling's are practicly all gone. Is there anyway to cut them back in? Tire's keep moving and tearing the vavle stem's. Any input much appreciated.

Had the same problem, ended up drilling holes around the rim,i inside and outside bead, and installing self tapping screws to hold tire in place

Yes, it held them in place. I was pulling 18.4x38s up through 10,000# class. I put 12 on the inside bead and 12 on the outside. Sorry I dont remember what length I used.
