No Waterloo pull

So I hear there is no pull in Waterloo
carbon monoxide from a truck show . I
see no things on the roster there all
together .
A pull in Michigan and one in Missouri
dropped to . What was the reason there
?
 
I believe Maspn, Michigan was due to the fair board using the arena as a storage facility. I can't comment on Springfield, but I wouldn't surprise me if it were building fees. Rental rates on facilities have always been an issue but more so now than ever. Support these indoor events if you can so we can keep what we have.
 
Went by Springfield Arena on Fri. and the parking lot e=]was packed with farm machinery. Don't know if they had a farm show or if somebody took it over. Was all makes so probably a show of some sorts. Heard there is a new facility in the works on a larger parcel of ground that if it goes through will be used in the future. Same story on the Waterloo pull. Maybe next yrer as it sounds.
 
Sounds like the same thing they did at Eaton, Ohio. Fairboard said they could make more money renting out the building for storage. Didnt consider the big picture what the tractor pulls brought in in dollars for the community.
 
Be fun to see more north or Missouri . But farming in the fall and cold weather all factor against the upper midwest .
 
If part of the building is rented for private storage, theft and vandalism can be hard to control when a lot of people move freely through out the building during public events.
 
It was the annual Ozark Fall Farmfest show going on October7-9th...Farm Talk magazine sponsors the show which started in 1975..Its a huge one.
