Last Saturday Sept 17th was the big MSTPA and BPM Truck and Tractor Pull at Holden,MO..Our MSTPA announcer Kaden Thieman lives in Holden....About 4 weeks ago at the Missouri State Fair pull I asked Kaiden if he wanted to drive my tractor at Holden...He said that he would think about..The fans spoke and said that they wanted to see Kaden pull..Kaden has never once pulled a tractor or truck in his entire life.He first hook would be on my 700 horsepower 10,500 Hot Stock 12.5 MPH IH 1466 puller..Kaden had once drove stock cars and had a helmet from those days...He said the butterflies were bad every time that he hooked...Read all about it on his FB page where the video is.

The BPM classes started at 2 PM so we entered Kaden in their 10500 Hot Stock class at 12.5 MPH..Heres Scott Potter giving driving instructions...Since my wifes bad wreck on August 27th Scott has been driving quite a bit for me.

Heres John Hollomon putting a Go-Pro camera onboard for Kadens very first hook....John runs the Missouri Truck And Tractor Pulling Fan Page on Facebook..John is a UPS driver and videos tractor pulls all over the state...Hes a great guy.

Heres Kadens first hook on the south track in the BPM 10500 Hot Stock..He had a shaky start but finally got rolling..He never did totally open it up but still finished 3rd at 336 ft ...Theres a link to a video of it on his Facebook page ...Go to the 2nd post on his page...The top post is for our local pull at Nevada,MO this Saturday night

Kaden was number one hook on the north track to start off the MSTPA pull at 7 PM..We told him to open it up and he hit 15.6 mph blowing the horn...We told him to turn it down and drop to 6th hook...THe picture is his 2nd hook..He came back and had a good hook going but shut it down at 305 ft finishing 7th out of 9..He thought that he was going out of bounds but after 300 ft there is no out of bounds...If he had stayed in it he might have been 3rd or 4th at around 310-312 ft..A 4020 JD pulled 321 ft to win the class.

Kaden got better with every hook and came off the line great on his 3rd and final hook...He was lucky to get that last hook as while I was driving it to the trailer it started jumping timing and shooting fire....Its just got a 3 bolt hub and thats barely adequate for a P pump capable of 800 CC's of fuel...Scott Potter is working on it today at his shop in Lamar,MO..

For some reason this picture didnt load on the first post..Scott Potter is getting ready to unload at Holden..Emmas Rocket Science 4430 JD is on the front and my Lonesome Loser 1466 IH is on the rear..Red and green seem to get along good together..The Potters have awesome to help me this year especially since my wifes bad wreck on Aug 27th.

Heres the video of the entire MSTPA Hot Stock class at Holden,MO....As you can see Kaden was doing much better coming off the line...We let him blow the horn as option puller and he came back..You will notice lots of fire on his final pass as the timing was jumping..He forgot that once you clear 300 ft all of the track is yours...It was fun watching him pull.
Hot Stock Class

1206--Looks like you've been busy again!--I see the Deeres have Lonesome Loser outnumbered--It is the opposite up here. My joke is--On the way to the pull today I saw the rarest tractor in the world--A IH 1066 that was not made into a puller!!!!-------THANKS for the post--especially the pics--We are done pulling up here for the year--No snow yet---Tee

Yes,I'm often the lone IH in the 10500 Hot Stock class..I hear that 3-4 new tractors are joining us next year but don't know what color they are.The Hudson twins had their DT 466 powered 706 there for the afternoon BPM classes but didnt stay for the MSTPA class...They hooked with MSTPA 5-6 times this year...The MSTPA season ends Oct 8th at ElDorado Springs,MO and my antique season ends Oct 29th at Joplin,MO...Yes,about half the 1066-1466 IH's seem to have been made in to pullers.

Tomorrow it will be near 100 but it will only be 62 degrees on Thursday..It will be back up to 90 on Saturday for the MSTPA pull in my home town..Scott Potter has my puller back in time at 34 degrees and I will drive it this Saturday for the first time in 5 weeks.

I had the opportunity one night at a county fair when the classes were full, and I drove a friend's tractor in His class under my pre- registered hook. LOL A fast paced ride compared to antique. And the IH throttle way in front of steering wheel, and reaching for the torque, - AND RPEATING BACKWARDS soon after the start of run in road gear.
