I posted under the Farmall/International Forum. I took my 1939 Farmall H to the local Comal County Fair Antique Tractor Pull (New Braunfels, TX) today. It weighed 3960 lbs so I pulled in the 4100 pound class, Division 1 (stock). I pulled 192 feet and came in second place to a 1937 Allis Chalmers which pulled 194 feet.
For grins, I also pulled in 4100 lb Division 2 (some modifications) and 4600 lb, Division 1. In the 4100 lb Division 2 I'd reduced tire air pressure from 17 to about 11 and pulled 248'. That was still second place. I won't brag about pulling in the 4600 pound category because I have nothing to brag about there. Still it was fun to see the ol' H come in pretty well today. kelly
