Can anyone here tell me what the factory hitch height is (from the ground to the top of the hitch) for a stock OEM John Deere model 80 with OEM-sized tires?

Probably the same but that should be for a JD 830.

No, but I remember when I found out how to take the draw bar out of our 70. I flipped it over because I thought it was too low(and dad was at work so I was by myself) The front wheels came off of the ground and stayed there! I never told dad a thing about my experiment.
