560 hot farm build

I wondering if someone could help me out with a few questions. I m building a 560 for lt/hot farm class and the rules say 13ft max length. Generally do people extend the frame and sheet metal or just move everything forward a little bit? Also I was wondering if anyone had a picture of how the shift fork linkage is for individual sticks vs the single stick? Thanks

Generally the length is from center of
rear axle to the front of front weights.
Has nothing to do with hood. On antique
460 they double 3rd. Gear. And take out
5th. And put a bolt through top cover so
it can't jump out. Plus speed up ring and
pinion. Most have another lever on this
bolt/pin. Don't know what gear they use on
hot farm

Thanks, and the rules I m going by say 13ft from center of axle to front of weights. And I just asked about the sheet metal being longer because in my head i thought it would look funny. And I ve heard mixed opinions on gearing for hot farm. 3may be to slow and 4th may be to fast, and use a IH 400 ring and pinion.

So do you know the Rpm of your motor? Its
sweet spot. Where the torque and hp cross.
A 560 with a 400 450 ring and pinion will
go 5.7 mph per 1000 rpm in 4th. 4,1 in
3rd. That's on 18.4X38 tires for bigger
tires its LR. Or load radius.(from center
of axle to ground.in inches) X rpm divided
by 5533 equal speed mph. That is 4 th
gear. On 560 with 400 460 ring and pinion.
3rd gear is7692

As far as a "sweet spot" I m not sure yet but I m going to run a 5.9 Cummins. I m allowed 3000rpm with one organization and 3800rpm with another org.

It has a Vogel cam in it, sleeves have been fire ringed, 4x24 injectors, 800cc P pump, stainless lines, triple disc clutch, I also have an atlas solid heavy input shaft, faster constant mesh gears

Jgentry88, what s your other class rules? Turbo size? I seen a lot of 3k rpm limited classes, but 3800? That s just crazy, at that point it needs to be an open rpm class.
Your hp/tq are really going to drive what gear ratio you need.
At 360 cubic in engine is going to struggle a little with a 3x3 turbo with a 3k rpm limit. 3800 will be ok ish, we are running one that makes peak HP in the mid 4k and peak torque in the mid 3k range.

KFFarm, how do I get in touch with you? I may know someone looking for a similar build.
