Got it together D17. Last night and loaded by 9:00 pm. Left this morning at 7:00 to go to Altamont Il. Met good friends about a hr. North we had 6 tractors between us. All runners! First pull of the day for me was 4000 lb. Open. I was about 8th puller. Jack Webb pulled in front of me 460 Ihc. He went 11.? Mph and went 398 ft. People was scattering! I went next 11.? Mph also. But Hamp really bit about 350 or so and went 413. Never got into the 400's before. So it was 1st. Then pulled 4500 at 4 mph. Pulling Larry Montgomery's sled can't ever blow the horn. Makes you not push it. Anyway won it too. Was last puller in 4500 4mph. And 1st puller in 4500 open. Hamp was 190 when I left pulling the open.but just got 5th. He drove on the trailer. And drove into the shed just now. So had a great day. thanks to my son and grandson helping get it together so fast. Vic
