I used the search function to no success. There was somebody here that tried 2 or 3 cram profiles from grinders but the engine was still underpowered. Then they found a company that did make a grind that matched the application.
Anyone recall that conversation ?

My son Brian grinds cams for pulling JD's. He has experimented with a lot of different grinds-I've run at least 10 different cams in my G- before he settled on the one he
is using now. He does modify it to match the bore and stroke of your build somewhat. A lot depends on the level of care that goes into how it is degreed. Some guys will
just put them in and not check and wonder why they won't run right. A couple degrees one way or the other makes a big difference. I've gone back in and changed the
degrees quite a few times trying to dial them in. When right they do run good.
