Waukesha 330

I think you mean a 320. Yes. But anything will fit in a 77. The next motor bigger will fit the 426. The hot deal on a Oliver is throw the tub away and build a light weight frame.

Is a 330 Waukesha 817 cu. Looks like it weighs 2700 lbs. Sure you could do it would be a bit heavy and long. Looks like they called the 426 engine a 135.

The waukesha 330 is 330 cubic inches. It is a newer engine. I had an engine dealer offer to sell me some when I picked up a load of model 195 (called 320) a few years ago. New $15,000.

I know the 330 you are talking about. I saw one once and it appeared to have a very similar bolt pattern, if not the same as the 310 engines. I could have had it for a couple hundred bucks. I'm betting it would fit. Love to have one myself. I think the stroke is 4-5/8 compared to 4-3/8 for a 310. Think it is still a 3-7/8 bore like the 310, know the stroke is longer.

If nothing else I'm learning what a 330 is. It's a Arrow (which makes new rebuilt engines). It's bore is 3.875 stroke 4.665. But it is the block from the older 320 or 195. So all the stuff you do to a 320 will work on a 330. Should be able to make a 540 from it.But if you were going to spend that much on a 320-330. Mite as well start with a 426 and make a 640. 4.750 X 6.00 shouldn't cost much more.lol

I would think it would. I saw a pic on one for sale a year or two ago in Texas. The two differences I noticed was like a big oil cooler on the right side of the engine that would interfere with steering shaft. The other thing it looked like it had a coil pack for each cylinder .

No, the 330 is 330 cubic inches (gas or diesel/ VRG330 or VRD330 respectively). The 145 Waukesha is the 817 cubic inch model.
