Who else works on governors for a Farmall M puller?

Who else works on governors for a Farmall M puller? I haven't heard anything good about Dennys carb shop. I spoke with Gary Baker but he says he is retired now. Any leads on someone else is appreciated. Thanks.

I have herd that Storm Creek Governors does real good work. I havent had any rebuilt but hear good results about him. 712-790-9965

Most of what I hear about Dennys is bad customer service in general. And people getting sent the wrong part and being charged a restocking fee when returning it for the right part.

what do you want to do? I rebuild governors and have done anything from stock to shaving the weights and putting a lighter spring in them to make to make them more responsive. I am unable to achieve the same results as a Thompson rock-it with two weights.

I'm trying to get more out of it. I have only just changed out governor spring. Everything else with the governor is still stock.

The main problem is the weights and all the linkage wears. If your weights wiggle on the pivot points and the clevis pins have slop in them, you will lose
response. The weights can get so loose they start hitting the case. I have some 9/32 brass round stock I make pins out of and machine out the clevis
connections that are 1/4 from the factory to 9/32. I machine out the weights to 5/16 and press in a 5/16 x 14 bushing. Then with new pins they are usually
pretty tight. The next weak point id where the throttle shaft comes in the housing gets worn and those I will mill out and put a brass bushing in. I hope that
helps.
