Farmall 301 flywheel

Im running 301 in a 560 and I have a flywheel from an international truck I think is a 264, would it fit the 301 crank. It seems the truck flywheel would be safer at more rpm than the tractor wheel but not sure if it would fit, any info is appreciated

pretty sure it will be a lot lighter than the tractor engine's flywheel. what rpm's you looking at?

quite sure u have nothin to worry about. the 282 in the 660 runs 2400 rpm under load. think the 706 is 2600 rpm. i would not call 3000 rpm fast. in the trucks those engines are be reved up much higher than that. they are basically a truck engine.

I understand about the engine just wasnt sure how many rpm the tractor wheel would stand. I have rev limiter set at 3000 but could easily turn it up if the flywheel would stand it, thanks for the info
