going to buy new tires for my 560 for tractor pulling.what size do you think i need 14.9x38 or 15.5x38 and what brand you think work best.In our area we have to stay15.5x38 or smaller.

I am a 14.9 sort of guy, because they are taller. But you don't want new tires. There are new V cut pulling tires. Haven't seen them be a clear cut winner yet. I lean towards Armstrong maxitrac. 30 degree kinda tread. Lot of tires for sale on Outlaw antique pulling site. But what tire wins where you pull. That's the one's you need. Are you pulling non cut or top cut. If you are pulling non cut. Really try to buy the winners tires. Because more than likely they have been enhanced by someone.
 
The V cut pulling tires or ProPuller tires, if that is what you mean, are not legal at NATPA pulls as per board ruling a couple of weeks ago. I prefer 14.9's for my little tractor but in the top cut class we have been running 16-9-34's with pretty good luck.

14.9 would be VERY small for a 560 around here.
