Last Sunday afternoon in the MSTPA 10500 Hot Stock class at Clinton,MO I let Scott Potter pull my 1466 IH against his daughter Emma's 4430 JD...Even though we are battling it out in the points race the Potters have been kind enough to let me use their GPS for the past 3 pulls...It sure makes it much easier to drive..Emmas cousin Austin was also in the class with his 4020 JD..We usually average 5-6 tractors in this class and I'm usually the lone IH....A friends 9600 Ford was supposed to be there but he didnt make it..

Heres the 5 tractors in Hot Stock at Clinton..All are tough and anyone of them could have won it..In this picture Scott and I are discussing his upcoming hook with an IH...He had never pulled a IH before....It was lots of fun seeing someone else drive my tractor and Scott really enjoyed it..This was a rain out make up pull and sadly there was only around 250-300 people there....

That was nice of the green tractors to let the red one win! Good job 1206--We trade drivers up here also--Kind a fun. I see in the clips that the 1466 won--Is it time to hire a ringer to drive the 1466?--Asking for a friend--Thanks---Tee

Tee,the green ones have finally been letting me win a little more in the past 6 hooks..(grin)The video below was from the night before at my home town...There were only 3 of us as its a pretty good drive down for some of them as they are from Central and NW MO....One puller that hooks with us was in PA visiting his new granddaughter....The biggest class we had this year was (9) at Boonville and 3 has been our smallest at Garnett,KS and Nevada,MO..

6 hooks ago I made some changes to the tractor and its really came around winning 3 of the last 6.....3 hooks ago I started using the Potters GPS and thats helped even more..Emmas Dad can drive for me anytime that he wants to..He just bought a 6000 lb White Pro-Field puller and will be warming it up this winter...The guy that hooks up the sled for MSTPA wants to drive my tractor once next year and I'll probably let him....His wife is our 100 ft flag person..

Right now with 2 hooks left I have a 11 point lead...It looks like Archie,MO will get rained out this Saturday so that leaves El Dorado Springs,MO on Oct 9th as our final hook for 2021..I'm expecting 6-8 tractors in my class..

Scotts new White puller which needs a bunch more horses...He knew that when he bought it...Emma will be on it when she's 15...I think it will getting Oliver sheet metal..

That 6000 pro field class looks similar to the class we run in NY. New York State 6700 Light Hot Farm.
What are the rules for that class?

We won the points this year, unfortunately the engine didnt finish the season.

10,500 lbs
12.5 MPH speed limit ( I got tossed once this year for 12.6) would have been 2nd place out of 9.
No engine size limit (I'm 570 cubes) I've pulled against 619's....Just 4 years ago a 436 IH won the points
No turbo size limit
No pump size limit
3000 RPM limit (I'm sealed at 2976 rpms)
Uncut 20.8x38's
Cut 18.4x38's

It makes for a good class where almost anyone can win..Takes 500 plus horses to be competitive...I'm probably at 600-650 plus with 575 cc's fuel,175 more cc's available if needed
I pull a 15 mph gear but may step up to a 16-17 mph gear next year..
I have a 12 point lead and all I need to do Sat eve Oct 9th at El Dorado Springs,MO is bump the sled to win the title..I'll do more than that but will be conservative..

Below is the video of the Archie,MO pull from Oct 2nd..A 4020 with uncut 18.4x38's beat me by 3 ft..A week ago my tractor beat him by 20 ft.
Archie,MO Hot Stock

6000 lbs

18.4x38 tires

Heres a video of the class at Archie,MO...Some friends 15 miles north of me will probably win the points race with the Osage Outlaw IH...The White Lightning White
from Neosho,MO is probably the hardest runner but missed several hooks.Sorry to hear that you lost an engine.
Archie,MO MSTPA

Similar rules,
6700 lbs.
401 cubic in limit,
18 high draw for anything bigger than 360
20 for anything under.
3x3 turbo.
No injection pump larger than P7100.
No rpm limit
Water injection allowed, no intercooler
18.4-38 any cut
Standard safety equipment.

Were running an Oliver 1850 rear with some gear changes and some fancy machine work to lighten it up.
