They had a few of them--I think this is the one that only brought $1200--I think it has your name on the door Mel!

Yea- all them truck sleds are garbage trucks! Careful bidding on them online auctions Tee, you never know what you will end up with. Somebody say Harvestor Silos? How's it going Tee? Getting harvest done? Suppose we will meet up in Waterloo Nov 12th and 13th. Say hi to your wife and don't make her mad. She needs to make them good bars and cookies for the pull again.

Doing good Mel--Will see you and the fam. in Waterloo--Don't know if my cookie lady will repeat this year or not--How about your better half-AKA Delores-Will she be passing out bars this year? We are still in the silo business but got out of the blue silos and went back to our roots of cement ones. Just got done with big job over in Italy--Had to straighten a big one--Almost called you but did not know if you had your shot-card up to date--Ya need it to fly now!!

We got it straight again--Big job

Dad had bought a new steel bin from Montgomery Wads, remember them, and we put it up. We found when we put it together it had an extra band with it so it was taller than was supposed to be. He filled it with oats the first year and over the winter it started to buckle and lean. After we emptied it we put angle irons on the sides to hold it straight. Either it was cheap bin material or not designed for that extra ring. It's ok if your sweetheart skips the cookies but we need a pan or 2 of those bars. Dolores always has her bars along so we can maybe make a swap?

Old Monkey Ward--Used to be one in a town eight miles from us. Big ole three story brick building--sold everything. I think we had a Wards wagon running gear when I was a kid. Maybe it was that high test weight South Dakota oats that made the bin crinkle!! The Mrs. say the bars are a go for Waterloo---Tee
