5 Pics-Still Pulling At Ages 82 And 83

Heres long time friend Tom H from Nevada,MO pulling (3) Fords at Stotts City,MO on Monday Sept 6th...Tom pulled a U MM at our first ever tractor pull at Nevada,MO back in 1967....More on that another time....I hope that I can still be here and be pulling at age 82 or 83..I know that there are older pullers around but Tom and Dale are the oldest I know about in my area....They are an inspiration to us young pups....Tom has several semis and both farms and trucks..He used to own the grain elevator at Milo,MO and I hauled to him..

Toms 6000 Ford won the 10 MPH 5000 lb class..Hes tough to beat in this class...The SOS tranny has held up for about 15 years...Tom has his trade mark cowboy hat on and chews on a cigar while pulling..

Toms 8000 Ford came in 4th in the 10 MPH 6250 lb class...He has plenty of power but it doesnt hook good on some tracks..


I think that Tom is in a partnership on this 9600 Ford but rarely ever drives it....The partners son Kyle D usually drives it..On Monday Tom was 2nd place in the tough 10 MPH 10,000 lb class....Shane D also pulls this tractor in the MSTPA 10,500 HS class.


83 year old Dale S from Stotts City pulls his late sons 1466 IH plus a 686 IH...Both are hard runners..Dales SIL drives some too.

I forgot to mention that Tom bought a new 1969 G-900 MM diesel tractor from Bell Tractor Sales at Milo,MO....My Dad also bought a new G-900 MM at that time..Tom still owns and uses his G-900 MM today....I've got to get a picture of him and the tractor.
