Little Rock IA. pull Aug. 29

Otter Creek pullers sled stock 2.5 MPH with tire and hitch rules below open 8 MPH no radials or turbos out of field can have turbos

Makes a more level playing field for the more stock tractors. Takes some of the horse power advantage away. Takes a lot more power to run 3.5 than 2.5.

Rumor has it your going to be getting a new motor for the Case-IH so you can turn a few more rpm's. Was from a reliable source.

Actually, much of the time the opposite is true. More horsepower required for extra slow speed since running that slow has the engine rpms well below the power band. Creeper gear John deere might benefit.

Only if it passes the rigid NATPA tech. inspection--They go over Abe with a fine toothed comb!!--Pulled six times last weekend but got rained out today--How about you?---Tee

Most of the stock tractors that pull with us run 1st gear which works very well at 2.5 mph. We also allow the TA Oliver power booster etc. in the stock class and it gets used a lot in 6500 and up.

We got one in at Prairie Village in Madison, SD on Thurs. night. Rained later in the night but we were home by then. We will be going to Auburn, IA Mon. or that is the plan anyway. We ended up with 3.8 inches of rain Fri. afternoon and night. Tornado to the south of us about 10 miles.

You can google Ottercreek Pullers. We did have 4 pulls a year, we are now down to 2 and we may lose our location in George so things are uncertain right now. I don't know if the rules have been updated with the changes I listed for the stock class.
