38 John Deere B

Took my 38 B to the first pull and it seems like the governor is not working and after a few feet it runs out of power even in low gear pulling about 6500 pounds stone boat. Weighed in at 4500 lbs..thank you for any help.

So you don't have the creeper gear transmission it's hard to compete with a stock tractor.

Lighten it up and start at 3000 or 3500. 6500 for a B is a tall order. Makes some stock G's grunt.

Guess Ill have to stick with the lighter class tractors. I guess it was to heavy for it..thank you.
