Big nut carb or not???

I have a 1952 model A gas (that I pull with) it has dltx72 carb on it now, how much of a difference will there be if I put a dltx51 “big nut”carb on it ???

spinnerbaitalways None. The 51 may run a little better than the All Fuel 72 but no horsepower increase. Lynn

Green magazine had a muster thinker question about this about a year ago . The 51 carb has the same casting as a 53 ( all fuel a) the main nozzle is different ( can be interchanged between the two ) thier is nothing special and no "extra power" from a 51 carb . Go ahead and read about it in the green magazine .

Mr stinker one time had another reply that your the big nut if you think changing carburetor will up the horsepower
