Remember this guy Blaine?
He turned up at Dad's 90'th
birthday party last year
along with Raymond Jackson.

It looks like a young Jimmy Kircher whom I haven't seen in over 40 years..As for the names on the 1100 MF weight rack all I can remember are the ones on the right side..Lyle took all the pictures...I was so busy getting teched, working on a shifting problem, getting entered, pulling, etc that I didnt get the MF 1100 looked over..I wonder if it was Bill Cooks old puller?

The names on the right side of the 1100 MF weight rack are Paulie Grinter,Jimmy Kircher,Russell Kircher,Raymond Jackson, and Jim Powell...On the front it says "In memory of the Heartbreaker Sled"....I dont know whose mentioned on the left side of the rack....I wished that I had time to look it over..

They pulled at "The Little Dixie Mud Run" about 1.5 miles north of Neco Seeds...I'm betting that we will be back next year.

NECO is Bill Cook's baby so it may well have been his old 1100. Pop was one of the 5 guys that chipped in and built the "Heart Breaker." gm

I talked with Lyle yesterday and he thinks that your Dads name was on the left side??? You will have to talk to Raymond or Jimmy to find out more....Was Paulie Grinter one of the 5 in on the sled?I dont have any pictures of Bills old 1100 MF from years ago....Wasnt it called The Track Packer?

Thanks for the pic of Bills 1100 MF..Where was this pull at?If you have more pics from the 1960's-70's we'd sure love to see them.....Below is the only pic I have ever seen of PD Kircher..That goes back nearly 50 years..

Here's one of Ray awarding Jim Dameron a "Heart Breaker" plaque for best puller in his class, (15,000), in about 73 or 74. It appears to be Fred Phillips who managed to photo-bomb them. gm
