Hey guys I have a case 311b that I would
like to set up for pulling but I am not
very familiar with case i was hoping to
get some advise on what I could do to
make it pull better like hitch setups,
tire size and types, and some engine mods
from little things to major engine work I
will start out farmstock but I will build
bigger as time goes on thanks in advance!

A motor from a case combine will be a good place to start. 65 hp or so to start. Don't remember what number of combine. 38" rims. 15.5 tires. Get rid of all hyd. Including 3 point all of it. Above all have fun! Lol Vic

It's a late model 660 201cu. Early 188 same as a 530 . Block should be a inch longer than yours.

Not a direct bolt in, the block has to be redrilled, It is a bit of work to get it right, there are starter issues that must be addressed. Have done several and can tell you if the tractor is set up with big tires and a good hitch even that engine is marginal for power in stock form on a good hard pulling track.
