Will C301 fire crater pistons work with a silver diamond head that has larger intake valves?

I'm not a IH guy but, hard to say. To many variables. Just have to try. I put a higher more duration cam in my allis. Didn't hit till I pulled it. Then every hole a valve kissed a piston. The short story is Didn't take enough off the pistons the first time. Lol.

Engine builders have a step by step procedure for checking piston to valve clearance using all components that will be used in the final assembly. This is done after the cam has been degreed in with min clearance of .070. Min clearance is not at piston TDC but at some point in valve events where the piston and valves run closest to each other.
