Good luck on your future endeavor Big Tee! Looks and smells more like a VAC type clutch I am thinking. I won a jackpot pull in Waterloo one year with my little G with a slipping clutch. Tractor was gaining rpms but I wasn't hardly moving the clutch was slipping so bad. Thing about the JD clutches they will heat up after slipping and grab ahold again. That's what mine did and I just got enough hold to not let the tractor spin out for the win. Snowing out your way? Been here all afternoon but no wind so it's not moving around on us.

No snow yet--it has been going south of us...Are you saying the "G" hasn't enough power to slip the clutch???? That is my excuse on the old VAC---Tee

I just spin the tires so there is no clutch slipeage. Got your rooms booked for Tulsa? Gonna be in the 50's in the forecast.

Tee- I see someone posted your picture on the Johnny Popper Pulling forum. Good shot of you.

You will have to go on Facebook and search for ":Johnny Popper Pullers". Scroll down till you see a nice G with spoke wheels and open the comments section. There you are!

I think that I will pass as thats one smell I never fell in love with..
I may be smelling it on my 427 Continental powered 101 Massey
as I'm going to try a stock clutch...

Mel--Happy Birthday on here also! I had to join the Johnny Poppers to view the "G"--I have no 2 bangers though but I saw the picture--I think you should take Deloris to a new eye doctor for she thought the guy sitting on your "G" was a HUNK!!!!! Will we still be friends????---Tee
