Modified JD G rods/clevite bearing question

Morning all!

I have modified rods for a 2 cylinder
John Deere. For the crank journal, I
thought I was mated to a 6030 rod.
Ordered new bearings and at first glance,
they appeared to be in order, dimensions,
and such.

After pulling the rod, the bearing
dimensions are close but the retaining
tang is on the opposite side. I say close
because of course I can't quite fit them
because of that tang. I do think they're
correct as far as size.

The rod is modified and there are no
markings or numbers whatsoever.I checked
the part numbers on the bearings and they
are a definite match for a 6030. AR53020.

Does anyone know if there were different
rods for 6030's or have any ideas what
rod I may have. Any help is appreciated. Attached is a pic of the rod cap with retainer on the opposite side of the bearing.

Thanks in advance.

There are 2 bearings for a BBJD. CB 1225AL and CB 1356P. If I remember right, one has a hole for pressure lube to the wrist pin, and the tangs are mirrored between the two to keep from putting a bearing without a hole in a rod that needs it. Shaft size, housing bore and width are the same between them.

There are 2 different SBJD bearings too, and I think it's the same deal; same shaft/housing bore/width and mirrored tangs to keep from mixing up bearings and rods.

On some rods we only use one side of the bearing so you need 2 sets for each rod. Might see if that works. Also sometimes you have to narrow the bearing a little to fit the crank so you have a little side to side movement. Check that out so they are the same.
