To start I have never stroked a small Moline. But I have worked on them back in the day. If I was going to stroke a ZA I would start with a 220 (U302) Blocks are thicker Intake is better carb etc. 60 hp to start with. I can't remember how much clearance between rod and back wall, if you have close to 1/2" you are good. Should be easy to bore your blocks to 4" millions of ford and Chevrolet pistons to pick from. Sleeves also. This would get you to 301 cu. But to be competitive with a WD Allis. Need to bore it to 4 5/8" Don't know if that is possible. But H IHC has a fairly long rod with a littler big end. I think. Also might weld a Honda big end to a Ford rod. I have a Mazda big end welded to a Ford small end In a WC Allis. Motor has a Burnt piston now but rods were welded 20 yrs ago. Just a few Ideas. Go to your local Speed or Machine shop and you can find almost any combination.
