Making a Super C lighter

I have my C down to 2750# with pressed wheels in the rear ,stock up front, and stripped down (including custom seat mounting). I do have weight brackets and wheelie bars. Can this weight be lowered to under 2500? Still has original engine, looking to change to a 153? later on. Thanks,

Im going to assume its a narrow front? and I would suggest switching from the cast fronts to pressed front rims. and remove fenders, drill holes in weight bracket. (I had wight brake 24" long made from 1/2in plate steel I drilled 10 3" holes and lost almost 20lbs) remove anything non essential, ( I have a strictly Pulling glover 770 I have removed fenders, custom front NF axel, moved alternator all non essential wiring, airfiliter, pro hydraulic pup lightweight transaxle cover and shaved bull gears) it all depends on what you want to keep vs what you really need.

With a C you can get a crank, lose the starter and battery. If you have a mag you're good, if not wire in a motorcycle battery. We drain about 1 third of the rear end, trans oil and run on short gas rations. A friend replaced the solid steering shafts with tubing. Due to their weighing very little we run boat trailer wheels/tires, tubeless, on the front. We made our own rear hubs and lost tons there. More will come to me with sleep. ;-) gm (PICs would still help.)
