Anyone know where the C301 stamping is on the block? On a 263 it?s on the flat boss down and to the right of the distributor but I don?t see it there on my 301. Thanks guys

Depends on what it?s out of. Tractor engine is where you said. Most everything else is on the right side above the alternator. I have had a couple engines not stamped at all.

My 301 came out of a combine 715 ih the numbers were on the right side up front on the side up on the block flat pad.

It?s out of a 715 combine supposedly a 301 but I just wanted to make sure it is for going in the tractor. Thanks guys I?ll check there.
