Farmall m stroker

Where is the best place to get a stroke crank made for a farmall m and what is the max stroke I can go without cutting the block and what is the max bore I can go on a 47 m I am located In southeast Missouri

murphys motor service is going to be the easiest but the M block might not be what you want to start the project with . get a 400 or 450 block and you can knock the sleeves out and put 4.25 pistons in it or bore it to 4.310 easily , add a 6.75 stroke and have 394 cu.in with over 100 hp .

What stroke do you start getting into the oil gallery? Saw inside one 25 years ago, had copper oil lines going around inside. Must have been bored and sleeved to 4 1/2 or bigger.

Don't know, not an engine builder, but I did replace the head gasket & found the 2" stroke, no sleeve bare block. Temp is excellent with 1/2 hard block.

I have one for sale. Wife said I had to sale one. It's a 4.350 X 7.500, L P head MSD. Has won at Tunica. Includes 20 100# weights.Call Jim Broome, 901-494-8184

ya,it is a lot of machining and not much cast left,2000 rpms,on that one,but little smaller her runs 2800 and has power !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like to build IHC M with a 4.500 stroke 7.500 stroke makes good power don't have to worry about sleeves leaking. I do all machine work in house. Located east of St. Louis Mo.
