12,000lb Farm Field mm G1000

there is a hand full of local Farm Stock pulls that I wouldn't mind pulling at with a mm G1000. 5mph pace rope, and can use a stock turbo, stock pump. would a G1000 compete with no turbo?

Depends how stock everyone is... I would look to
start in 10000 or less though.

I usted to pull a 4010 JD in the 12000 NA class a long time ago. Never did win but they knew I was there. On a drop pan sled Olivers with V8 Cats are the ones to beat around here (Midwest) with no speed limit. Their 3 speed torque shifts soo smooth! But you said 5 mph. They pull this class East of me in Southern In. Last year I saw a 1070 Case without a turbo win this class. There was some near 1000 hp tractors in it also. They would go like heck till the 150 ft then backout then spin there tires wildly at the end. The hp didn"t help them at all. at least on this track. a 1000 cu Minnie would be hard to beat.
