Dan I ,went from 13.6.38s to16.9.34s same dia. with mixed results . They weren't the ( fixall ) I was hoping for. started pulling 1000 ibs. heavier with better results.

my reason for this question is i am putting pressed steel on my tractor and i bought these 16.9x34 on 9 bolt wheels from a buddy of mine wanted to go 15.5x38 but i got a good deal on these then when i got to looking at the sizes i noticed like i said the only difference is the width this is important because now i have to pull antique classes not farmstock but im not upping my horsepower any

i'm running 18-4 x 34s on a super M and they look great and actually work great. Go for it and you will be happy. It will slow you down slightly but will give you more torque.
