anybody know the difference in weight from an 18.4-38 to a 14.9-38?

It will vary a lot depending on tire brand and type/model. For instance, a 18.4X38 Firestone Deep Tread might weigh twice as much as and old COOP 30 deg tread 18.4X38. Mike

This is not what you ask, but I go between 14.9 X 38 goodyears and 18.4 X 34 Armstrongs and believe it or not sometimes run the same weights. I just looked in my book. Their is that much diffrence in scales or they are giving everyone 150 or so lbs. I think there is 210 lbs but I have cut 35 lbs from my rims of the 18.4 s. And I have tubes in both. but small light ones.
