Hey guys kinda new here I have a cockshutt 30 I would like to build to do some antique pulling speed limit stuff really would like to know what options I have as far as overbore kits cam options. Let me know what you guys do and where to get parts. thanks
 
Wife pulls a 30 wide front. Overbore kit,electronic ign, pulling carb,Berry cam, 13.6 rubber,3.5 MPH. Pulls 3500-4500# classes. Very competitive.Lots of 1st and 2nd place trophies. Biggest competition is the olivers.
 
I have a tractor repair business, I have 2 or 3 sources for the kits. Buda parts for these engines are fairly easy to obtain.If you can't get them let me know maybe I can help you. I think NAPA still can get them. Berry cam service , www.berrycam.com ,can grind your cam. They have done a few different ones for us and do excellent work.
 
WHAT KIND OF PULLING ARE YOU GOING TO DO? THERES A BIG DIFFRENCE IN SET UP BETWEEN DEAD WEIGHT VS TRANSFER SLED. KNOW WHAT YOUR MOST LIKELY GOING TO PULL BEFORE YOUR GET INTO MAJOR WORK.EASY TO BUILD FOR ONE OR THE OTHER BUT HARD TO BUILD TO RUN IN BOTH.
 

It will be a transfer sled I'm not new to pulling just new to the cockshutt side of things. My other pulling toys are IH.
 
30 puller. We also have a 35 deluxe with big bore GO198 herc in it and I pull a 570 Diesel which does quiet well against the IH 560s. Good luck with your project.
