Plenty of AC's pulling here now...And I have 3 other Ollies so I might better stick to em. Those AC's are tough tractors for sure.

I"d go for that 66 thats been for sale for a while now, if its like any other oliver, its hard to beat. the price seems fair and most times you cant build a puller for what they sell for, my two cents.

Rich, there has been a 66 for sale by you for a while, Charlie Sussex or something like that, 3000 dollars is his asking price and its a real nice looking tractor and wouldn't be suprised if it ran better than it looks.

As an idea to look at, you could get in the 2500-3000lb class with a Ford 8N. We take ours to the tractor pulls and it is stock. We usually get around 2nd place everytime we pull it with about 5lbs of air in the tires. I wish I could say the same with our 861 powermaster in the 4/4.5K lb class, just cant seem to make it grab right and usually doesnt do good at all. Oh well, live and learn.

Good Luck, Craig

I have a farmall h with 9 speed it weighs 3100 with 200lb driver, with little work could get it down to 3,000lb class. Can pull 1st gear high range which is faster than 4th gear normal in 3500lb class. Email for more info. Asking $3000 with trailer or $2450 without.

I have a 1954(???) Ferguson TE-20. This is the English built model. The engine is built by Standard Motor Company. It is similar but larger in displacement to the TR4 highly modifiable Triumph car engine. Not only did it make more horsepower stock than the Continental or Flathead Ford, the chassis has cast aluminum tranny housing, steering box, oil pan, and engine front cover... stock. Pull it in 2500 through 3500. Stock weighs about 2300#. I've got two of these and am selling the good. Runs good with four new tires. Otherwise it has a few dings and such. $1500

I traded for a Case VAC about a year ago that has a 148 Gas engine out of a Case backhoe in it. I never have weighed it or pulled it, but it runs really well. I can't imagine it weighing over 2500 lbs. The gas tank had a leak in it, so I have it off right now, but will have it back together and running soon. I'm also going to put a Pertronix electronic ignition and coil on it. It has front and rear weight brackets, lightweight front wheels/narrow front, 11.2 X 36 tires on 9-bolt pressed steel wheels, lightweight hubs, pulling hitch, wheelie bars, flat-back/No PTO, no belt-pulley or hyd pump. I'll sell it for $1950.00, but I want to get it back together and make sure it runs right again before I sell it.
