Is it possible to get a farmall M down to 4500lb class? I haven't seen this in my area, just wondering. Has any body done it? Pic's? thanks

Yes it is. My weighs 4420 with my 240 lb frame. It has the pto
removed and the belt pulley, hyd. pump with stamped steel 14.6-
38"s

Yup the pto belt pulley and hydraulic pump were all optional equipment, so yes it is "stock"

When you make those holes where you put the pistons bigger it makes the tractor really light.

Its right around the 100 horse mark. We usually pull it anywhere from 4750 on up. That keeps some weight on it. It does really good in 1st and 2nd gear classes.

When you pull the PTo out use the top cap off of a Farmall M steering that covers the gears. It will bolt right up and cover the hole. Dont use yours of course. If you cant find any may have some for sale.
