weight of tires

Thinking about putting bigger tires on my tractor. Does anyone know how much a 15.5x38 (15" pressed steel rims) weights, a 16.9x38 weighs (16" pressed steel rims), and a 18.4X38 weighs (18" pressed steel rims). Tires are about 40-50% tread. I just want to know some ball park figures. I know its hard to be exact. All sets of tires are Firestone Field and Roads.

Are all these tires & wheels that you have and would you be looking to get rid of any, where are you located? Thanks

There are many variables in tire weights, such as ply rating and age. Older tires of the same size generally are heavier than later tires. Also, when you say "Field and Roads" do you mean straight F&R's or All Traction Field and Road or perhaps Traction Field and Road? All of these tires will weigh differently, size for size. As to your rims, it's a good rule of thumb to add about 10 lbs. for each additional inch of rim width you add, assuming you are using the same weight center. Hope this helps. Mike
