Ford Hundred series fender thickness

The left fender on my Ford 800 series has some rust holes and I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of what gauge steel was used on these things. I'm thinking of welding in some patch panels and realize that this thing will never be a show tractor.

My basic question is, what gauge steel should I look for?

Thanks, folks

Very close to 16 Ga. I keep 4 x 10 sheets of 18 ga. cold rolled that I use for most repairs of the hoods and fenders. It is a little
thinner, but works great for a thin coat of bondo.
