Cheap, Simple Spray Painting???

Help, please. I wanna put some paint on some of my old machinery. I'm NOT looking for a shiny, beautiful new-car finish. I wanna power wash, allow to dry and then spray with some cheap electric? airless? sprayer. Advice? What should I look for?
I figure my paint will probably come from Tractor Supply or NAPA, etc. Again, advice?
Thanks, kelly

Just be sure to do an overkill on cleaning the tractor. The slightest trace of oil will cause the new paint to peal. As far as paint I would recommend the Rustoleum Farm and Implement paint. I painted a Kubota tractor with it 13 years ago and the paint is still in good condition. With cheap paint fading is an issue but this paint has faded so little you would have to put some fresh paint on the top of the hood to see it.

For an enamel I use a siphon sprayer from Harbor Freight. I think they are still under 25 bucks. Thin the paint with naphtha and use as little as you can. The paint should splatter a little but flow out smooth after it sits a few moments. If you over thin it, it screws up the sheen and actually makes it take longer to dry.

I was wondering the same thing. My son has a couple old hay rakes he wants to fix up this summer and repaint. I was hoping the Van Sickle or Magic paint would be ok since it is easy to get
