Has Valspar Discontinued Tractor Paint and Hardner?

No longer finding Valspar tractor paint at either Farm and Fleet or Tractor Supply. Can't find it on their website any more either. Did they discontinue the product line? Anyone know of another brand of hardener that will work with alkyd based paint that might be available locally? Farm and Fleet has Krylon tractor paint now, but it's an acrylic based enamel so the hardener won't work with alkyd enamel.

We can only hope Valspar paint has gone away. I painted a Kubota tractor with it once and within a year it was peach colored. You could almost see if fade daily. Then I had a customer insist on painting the inside of your house with Valspar paint and after spending
two days painting a couple of rooms three times and still didn't cover I talked the customer into another brand. I think it would have taken an additional three coats but one coat of Glidden did the trick.

The Rustoleum Farm and Implement paint that tractor supply sells is good paint. I repainted that kubota tractor in 2009 and you can barely see any fading on it. You can use the Majic hardener with it.

I found Valspar hardener #4625 for alkyd paint online but not at Amazon or ebay.
I have used 4625 in Ace Hdwe Rust stop paint with urethane clear on top.
Seems to look and last pretty good. Like 20 years out side for inexpensive paint is not hopeless.

I'm using the Krylon hardener in my non Krylon DTM enamel. Works great. Expensive and you don't get much.
Never seem to find enough on the shelf. Probably doesn't help that Krylon does not include ratios.
