clearcoat?

Has anyone clear coated over decals or bumper stickers? I am painting my truck bumper and will apply 2 bumper stickers that I want to preserve. Thinking of several coats of clear. Thank you for your time, stay healthy, joe

I believe I would paint the bumper and allow the paint to cure a few weeks before putting the bumper sticker on it. Then mask off the bumper and clear the sticker. Eventually the sticker will come off and you would have good paint on the bumper underneath.
