Tallmans Massey Silver Mist Color Issue

I'm just checking to see if anyone else has had this issue. So far I'm only one for three on getting silver paint in the can. The cans are all identified as Silver Mist. But two of the three cans had peach colored paint in them.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Try stirring it. If the can has sat on the shelf for a long time the pigment can separate and settle to the bottom. If you can't get any color to come up then they left the pigment out at the factory and the paint is defective. If you don't want to take it back and
have another use for the paint you could add pigment to make it most any light color darker than that tan. The factory would be the only one that would have the correct pigment to make the correct color. A person could spend days tinkering with the color to match a
color and sometimes in the end it's a little off. Different brands of pigment are a little different.

I already put it on a paint shaker and it didn't bring up any pigments. I took a paint stirrer and a screwdriver to try to scrape the bottom to see if the solids had settled out but there wasn't anything on bottom.

I already contacted the company and they are sending me more paint. They were trying to say that is was due to it sitting too long. But I explained to them what all I had tried and they conceded to send me more paint. I was just curious to see if anyone else had a similar experience.

In hind sight, I should have just driven the 45 minutes to the Massey dealership and picked up paint there.

It was just a fluke. Those cans are rolling by an assembly line faster than you can see and if the machine that dispenses the pigment gets an air bubble in it a few cans't get skipped. It's really a miracle the colors even come close to matching each other. It's also
the reason they tell you on a large job mix all the cans together before applying.
