assistance for removal of old decals and stripping on our RV

This is a question for those who have done body work or have a friend or family member who has done body work for a living.
We have our RV that was built in 1983 >>>> the decals on the back are ""STUCK ON""" >>>In other words; I have used a heat gun and scraper, a sander with 120 grit, and soaking with "goo". Nothing works to remove these decals that seam to be frozen to the aluminum body metal.
Does any one have experience in removing decals of this sort, please help guide me; I am at a loss as to what to do to remove this difficult decal.

just had another thought. back in the olden days, to remove the lettering on the side of trucks, we used oven cleaner. it wouldbtake the lettering of but didnt harm the original paint.

Thank you fellows I will look up the items you sent. Hopefully now I may remove the last so I can go on and re paint
Thank you again.
