What paint? Classic or new JD color? Or if anybody has pictures of there s. Thanks

What you can do is find a small part with the orginal paint in resonably good condition that you could remove. Take the part
and sand it to remove the top oxidized layer of paint and clear coat it. You could use that to have paint computer matched.
Automotive paint stores can do that as well as your neighborhood paint store.

Personally to me the color appears to be the same as Northfield woodworking machinery. I have the formula for that color.
 
I thought it was a hard and fast rule that the old 2 cylinders were painted Classic Green, and the 4
cylinder pony motor don't count.
