Original Paint, but nicely cleaned up

What does everyone use for bringing some luster back to original paint. I?ve got a 1973 Ford 4000 that is no beauty queen, but nice original. What works well to clean up the surface of the paint, but keeping it original?

Dupont rubbing compound. If you want it to really pop follow up with white polishing compound.

On places you can get to you might buff it with an auto polisher with rubbing compound. I think the wheels will need paint though.

I used rubbing compound on a 3000 a few years ago. Just the stuff you can buy in a can at any auto parts store. I just followed directions on the can and did it by hand.
The original paint was still nice but oxidized after nearly 50 years. Afterwards I waxed it. It did wonders on the hood, etc. Was getting the tractor ready to sell and the couple of hours I spent doing it probably increased the value a few hundred $. Pretty good pay for my labor.
