Are Tallman paint products good? I am looking at painting a tractor and see ads for Tallman products/

thank you for your replys

Don't know how good it is but I am currently using it (paint) on a project. Is seems ok.

Not much about it on the internet. Someone said it was made by Van Sickle. If that is true it's a good brand however it's said to be an alkyd enamel. If the color has red in it you might have difficulty with it fading. Automotive paints would last longer and be more colorfast. They are more expensive but you would get a factory quality paint job from it.

It's made by Van Sickle. I have used several spray cans restoring toys. I buy Tallman brand of Agco colors I can't find anywhere. I have not had any problems with any of the colors.

I don't know anything about their reds, yellows, greens, etc. but I use their IH Implement Blue with very satisfactory results. I use a small amount of hardener in the last coat and am more than pleased with the resultant shine and lasting color. There are IH implements around here that have set outside for 3 plus years and seem to have the same shine as the day they were painted.

Don't go by the name. Most manufacturers produce different quality levels. What you want is urethane.

Used it on the Fordson model F . I used it on the Casting and forgings with a cheap Home Depot brush. I can?t see any brush lines. So I?d say it pretty good.
I have not sprayed it.
