I am of course using Nason on the car that I am working on because that is what I used for base coat. You use the same brand and the specific product number out of that brand that goes with the specific base coat that you used. Unless of course you put only five hours into the prep, then it doesn't matter.

(quoted from post at 17:18:14 05/14/19) What recommendations does anyone have for a clear coat on a newly painted tractor?

Newly painted as in it was recently painted (with what?) and you just want to go over that with a clear for protection?

The question is a little bit loaded in that you can spend anywhere from $100 to $800 on a gallon of clearcoat and corresponding hardener...

I don't care for putting a clear coat over a single stage paint. In the event the paint is damaged it shows a white patch where the clear is lifting. The single stage paint is intended to be just that, single stage.
