Brush painting a tractor update

Nearly finished with the ol' B.
Some brush strokes are visible.
But so are dents, dings and places
where many coats of paint had
chipped off. Got about $350 total
in the tractor. Good enough for
us.

I have the correct front rims.
Waiting on a couple of
tires.....uggg. That will put me
at $450.

Looks GOOD, and I like those S E X Y front rims!

They've got "go fast" written all over 'em!

The tractor looks real good. Reminds me of a guy I used to work for. He painted his work truck with a brush and you would never know it wasn't sprayed.

Funny thing is they are temporary tires from a car. Some one drilled out the holes so they lined up. It's a very farmerized fix!

How do I see the photo?!

I did a rehab on some Ford rims and centers about a year ago. Had them sandblasted then had to braze a few holes up.
I bought a good china bristle brush and after priming put two coats of acrylic enamel on them - straight out of the can.
Wasn't looking for a resto quality job. Just wanted them to look decent and protect the metal.
They came out better than I expected they would. The paint flowed nicely with hardly any brush marks.
I do think the china bristle brush helped.
A year later they still look good.

Great job! The surface looks smooth.
